Specification

Flatness shall meet the standards in the table below:

Maximum Saw Diameter                      Total IndicatorReading (TIR)

18″                                                                                          0.004″

22″                                                                                          0.005″

25”                                                                                         0.006″

28”                                                                                         0.007″

30″                                                                                         0.008″

36″                                                                                          0.010″

Verification:

Use a test arbor, and dial indicator as shown. Measure the TIR between the gullet and collar lines, then rotate the saw 180° and take a second measurement. Record the difference between the largest and smallest values.
