Saw Plates: Outside Diameter
Specification
Outside diameter shall be as specified, ± 0.020″, for both tipped and untipped saws.
Verification
Measure with a large caliper between plate tips (if carbide tips have not been inserted), or between inserted tips (if the saw has been finished). One reading is usually enough. Any additional measurements should be 45° apart (see diagram).
